SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On October 3, 2017 the Erie Community Library and the Erie Historical Society submitted a Community Organization Grant Request Form to the Town Clerk’s Office seeking use of the Erie Community Center for the Annual Local History Series event. This will be the 10th year that the Library and the Historical Society have organized this event.
During the April 9, 2013 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved the amended Policy and Procedures for Grants to the Community Organizations to include criteria for promotion and in-kind support of Town Sponsored and Town Endorsed events. The amended policy allows the Board to consider requests on a case by case basis.
