SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

Unite Private Networks, LLC provides fiber optic service to several existing St. Vrain Valley Schools.  Previous fiber facilities were installed on Town property, easements and/or right of way without an encroachment license agreement.  Unite Private Networks, LLC has approached the Town for a right of way permit to extend their fiber optic cable facilities to provide fiber optic service to the new K-8 school north of Erie High School.  Staff is taking this opportunity to include all of the existing and the proposed new facilities in an Encroachment License Agreement.

Staff is recommending approving the resolution and authorizing the Mayor to sign the Encroachment License Agreement.
