SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The construction contract for the Zone 3 Waterline Phase 1 was awarded to Scott Contracting Inc. (Consent Agenda 17-220) at the June 13, 2017 Board Meeting. Staff has been working with the Erie Coal Creek Ditch & Reservoir Company, throughout the design of the Zone 3 Waterline Phase 1 project. The new waterline will cross the ditch at a location south of Vista Parkway where the ditch is in a pipe, see attached Vicinity Map for crossing location.
