SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Crestone Energy is currently constructing an Oil and Gas Gathering Facility in Weld County on the northwest corner of WCR 6 and WCR 7, with both roads being within Town Limits. As part of the project they are constructing a 12 inch water line in WCR 6 as well as paving the road for a half mile west of WCR 7. WCR 6 is currently a low maintenance dirt road with minimal daily traffic.
The contractor is proposing to start the closure on June 14th with a targeted re-opening of the beginning of August, weather permitting. The Town will send out a press release and the contractor will install message boards notifying drivers of the closure.
