SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: With the purchase of both the Strieby Property and the Allen Farms Property, it was anticipated that the structures on both properties would need to be removed. The Town requested bids from Alpine Demolition, Inc, for the demolition of the structures currently located on the sites. Alpine has previously worked for the town by removing structures at the 9-mile property, the property north of Town Hall, and at the church just west of Town Hall.
Alpine Demolition has been in business for over 20 years and has successfully performed demolition work for the Town of Erie before. Staff is recommending awarding the contract for the Demo of Existing Structures at 2140 North 107th Street and 4684 North 119th Street to Alpine Demolition Inc.
