Approve the Resolution to award said contract, authorize the appropriate Town officer to execute said contract, authorize Staff to expend contracted funds and contingency funds.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Town Board previously awarded the Design for the Zone 3 Waterline Extension Phase 1 to JR Engineering At the September 22, 2015 Board Meeting. The Town Board also authorized the purchase of a permanent utility easement and temporary construction easement for the construction of this project at the March 28, 2017 Board Meeting. Also before you tonight is a Construct Contract for the construction of the Zone 3 Waterline Extension Phase 1 (Consent Agenda 17-220).
Now that the project has bid, JR Engineering LLC. was asked to provide a cost for construction management. The construction management services will include Inspection, documentation and oversight during construction and geotechnical testing services. The Town’s construction inspectors are focused on construction inspection and oversight of residential and commercial development. Due to the location and complexity of this project, Staff believes it is in the Town’s best interest to have the design firm provide construction management services.
Staff is recommending awarding the construction management contract for the Zone 3 Waterline Extension Phase 1 to JR Engineering LLC, in the amount of $75,484.
