SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: On December 13, 2016, the Board of Trustees passed Resolution 16-195 accepting the Downtown Redevelopment Framework Plan and directed Town Staff to implement the plan.
The Downtown Redevelopment Framework Plan is intended to be a companion to the Unified Development Code, Comprehensive Plan, and the Urban Renewal Plan. The Downtown Redevelopment Framework Plan is intended to inform and guide redevelopment to achieve a better fit, and create a consistent approach so that each addition or change represents another improvement to the whole. This approach will help insure that the cumulative impacts of individual actions combine to achieve the Town's vision for a Downtown that will remain healthy, vibrant, welcoming, and economically strong over time.
