SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On February 9, 2017 Erie Air Fair, Inc. submitted a Community Organization Grant Request Form to the Town Clerk’s Office seeking a donation of $4,000.00 for costs associated with the annual Erie Air Fair at the Erie Municipal Airport. This is the 7th year that Erie Air Fair, Inc. has organized this event.
The Board’s approved 2017 Budget includes $4,000.00 for the 2017 Erie Air Fair.
BACKGROUND: During the April 9, 2013 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved the amended Policy and Procedures for Grants to the Community Organizations to include criteria for promotion and in-kind support of Town Sponsored and Town Endorsed events. The amended policy allows the Board to consider requests on a case by case basis.
