SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The security cameras at the Erie Community Park and the Ball Fields no longer function and must be replaced. The approved 2017 Budget includes an allocation $15,000 for this purpose.
The Town has previously entered into a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Security Central Inc. to provide various security and surveillance systems. Security Central hosts and monitors the following systems throughout the Town: Erie Community Center, Police Department & Municipal Court Building, Erie Skate Park, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Town Hall, Police Department & Municipal Court and Leon A. Wurl Service Center. Security Central is also under contract with the Town to install cameras and card access at the North Water Treatment Facility and the Vista Ridge Pump Station.
