SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
In the contract provisions for collection services of Integral Recoveries, their fee is 20% of the total amount collected for the court. If the collection fee assessed by the court is 25% of the total amount due, that will cover the entire 20% retained by Integral Recoveries and the entire monetary amount referred to collections. The ordinance provides that the municipal court is authorized to assess a collection fee of $25% of the total amount referred to collections.
