Approve resolution authorizing a contract with Design Concepts for Star Meadows Park final design and construction documents and authorize the Town Administrator to sign said contract.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
In October 2015, the Board of Trustees approved resolution authorizing Town of Erie to apply for grant from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) to assist with master plan and construction documents for the Flatiron Meadows Neighborhood Park site. As reported in a staff memo in April 2016 the Town of Erie received the requested $75,000 from GOCO to move project forward. At the September 13, 2016 Board of Trustee meeting, the Board approved the site master plan for Star Meadows Park.
We are now ready to move forward with the final design and construction document phase of the project and are bringing the contract with our consultant, Design Concepts, to the Board for approval. The contract is for $144,110.00, however up to $75,000.00 will be covered by the GOCO grant, with the remaining portion covered by funds currently appropriated in the 2016 Park Improvement Impact Fund.
