SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The 2016 Edition of Standards and Specifications for Design and Construction of Public Improvements (Standards and Specifications) was adopted by the Board of Trustees in January 2016. In order to insure the Standards and Specifications are kept current, periodic updates are necessary.
Since the last update, there have been changes to our Town Tree Ordinance that require updating this document. We have updated and reviewed these changes for the June, 2016 Edition of the Standards and Specifications. A summary of these changes is attached.
Per statute requirement, prior to consideration of the Ordinance, a Public Hearing should be held. Copies of the Ordinance along with the amended language are available in the Town Clerk’s Office for review.
