SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: The Sierra Vista Annexation Agreement dated June 25, 2012, allows for the Town to design and construct a sanitary sewer service to extend sewer service to the Sierra Vista development.  The design of the sanitary sewer service is complete and includes the replacement of an existing older water line.  In order to extend the sanitary sewer service and replace the existing water line, easements are required across two properties.  Easement negotiations were completed with one property and a permanent and temporary construction easement were acquired in April, 2015.  Staff has just recently concluded negotiations with the second property owner.

Before you tonight is a grant of permanent access and utilities easement agreement and a grant of temporary construction easement agreement with the owner of 380 Baron Court for this future sanitary sewer extension and water line replacement.

Staff is recommending approving the acquisition of the easements and authorizing the Mayor to execute said easements.
