SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

On Dec. 10, 2024, the Town Council passed Ordinance 039-2024, an Ordinance updating the Town’s Water Tap Fees, Fees in Lieu of Water Dedication and Wastewater Tap Fees. Ordinance 039-2024 contained the correct figure for ¾” water tap fees, which are the vast majority of taps required for new development. However, the ordinance contained clerical errors for the 2024 Potable Water Tap Fees for taps from one inch to six inches in size. Ordinance 039-2024 also did not include the 2025 Water Tap Fee for small homes.

This Ordinance corrects these errors and includes the correct Potable Water Tap Fees for taps from one inch to six inches in size, and the correct 2025 Potable Water Tap Fees for small homes. No other changes to Ordinance 039-2024 are proposed or implemented via this Ordinance.
