SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Morgan Hill Metropolitan District (“District”) is seeking approval for the annexation of unincorporated Weld County property into the District. The lands proposed for annexation into the District consist of the Wooley-Becky-Sosa oil/gas pad located at the northeast corner of County Line Road and Weld County Road 10.5.
Annexation of the oil/gas pad site will likely provide financial benefits to the proposed Morgan Hill development to the east. Attachment B provides a detailed explanation for the annexation of these lands into the District.
