SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

The 2019 capital budget includes funds for the street maintenance program project. The Board awarded the initial treatment portion of the project at the July 23, 2019 meeting. With the pricing being lower than anticipated, the Town asked A-1 Chipseal for a price to complete additional work on Vista Parkway and Erie Parkway:

Vista Parkway - Mountain View Boulevard traffic circle south approximately 3,470 linear feet to State Highway 7 (Double chip with fog seal)

Erie Parkway - Weld County Road 5 east approximately 8,578 linear feet to Town limits (Hot chip or 1.5” overlay)

As a result of the lower pricing, this additional can be completed within the original budget for the 2019 street maintenance program.
