SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Background:
On March 24th the BOT approved and adopted the Town Center PD and Master Plan. In the final report the "peel" arterial road that connects the properties along the west side of County Line Road is identified as a "Town Obligation Project". After much discussion with development partners, to keep momentum on this project, the Town would proceed with the following:

The Town will issue an RFQ for an engineering firm to design and provide a cost estimate for the two new envisioned intersections at both ends of the peel (highlighted in the attached PowerPoint slide). These unique intersections are the only new major infrastructure changes introduced through this planning process that go above and beyond what would typically be required as part of the Town's standard development requirements and process.

After a firm is selected and designs and costs have been determined, staff will work with the developers/property owners to determine the best way to fill the "gap" created by the difference between the costs of the new intersections compared to the cost of development had it not been for this master planning process.
