Recommendation
Approve the Resolution to amend the Construction Manager At-Risk contract with ECI Site Construction Management, authorize the appropriate Town Officer to execute the agreement, and authorize staff to expend budgeted funds.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
As part of its 2021 work plan, the Board provided direction to accelerate the construction of the Coal Creek Park Redevelopment Project with the goal of having the park open by 2023. The project team worked quickly to update the construction documents to ensure continued compliance with code, standards and specifications, and other external factors. Additionally, the design has been updated to accommodate expanded parking, and a community splash pad for summer use that will transition into an ice rink in the winter.
In October of 2022, the Board of Trustees approved a Construction Manager at-Risk (CMAR) contract with ECI Site Construction Management with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP#1) for initial site work, including fencing, demolition, and clear and grub.
