SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Authority has conducted studies and surveys to determine whether the area meets the definition of “blighted area” by the Colorado Urban Renewal Law, Section 31-25-101. The Authority finds and determines that the area is a “blighted area”. The Authority also finds that the area is appropriate for an urban renewal project.
On January 16, 2019, the Planning Commission approved Resolution No. 19-01, which found the Plan to be in conformity with the Town of Erie Comprehensive Plan.
