Recommendation
Approve the Ordinance authorizing a permanent utility easement for construction of a switchgear equipment box at Clayton Park, and authorizing the Mayor to execute the Grant of Easement Agreement.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
United Power, working in conjunction with the developer for Erie Highlands, has requested a five-foot by five-foot pocket easement within Clayton Park to complete an electrical feeder tie in necessary to further residential development in the area. The pocket easement will be located in the northeast corner of Clayton Park and ensures new utilities do not get installed on top of existing utilities. This easement will not have a negative impact on Clayton Park.
