SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On July 18, 2022, Town staff executed an agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc. for professional services related to the project management of the Central Square EAMS Implementation project. That original contract amount was $40,000 and was approved at the Director and Town Manager levels, consistent with the Town's purchasing policy.
On Feb. 6, 2023, staff amended the original contract (First Amendment) for an additional $40,000 to continue on-going project management of the Central Square EAMS Implementation project.
On Sept 12, 2023, staff amended the original contract (Second Amendment) for an additional $29,400 to continue on-going project management of the Central Square EAMS Implementation project.
Staff is requesting to execute a third amendment to the original contract in the amount of $40,040. Staff requests this for additional project management, implementation support and general coordination time with Central Square and Town staff to support the project through April 30, 2024 and provide for full implementation of the software system. This third amendment will bring the total contract with HDR Engineering, Inc. to $149,440.
