POLICY ISSUES:

This training, conducted in partnership with the Erie Police Department, will strengthen the Planning Commission’s capacity to respond appropriately and effectively in the event of an active threat (active harmer) situation.Recommendation

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommend that the Planning Commission participate in the Erie Police Department’s active threat (active harmer) training as part of the Town’s continued commitment to safety, preparedness, and effective emergency response.
