SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The purpose of tonight’s oil and gas discussion is ensure staff is working with clarified expectations and understanding of the Board’s direction. It is important all Trustees have the same information and are aware of the current status of various topics within the broader oil and gas conversation.
The following topics will be the starting point for this dialogue:
• Establish timelines for current projects
o Unified Development Code updates
o Current Moratorium
• Updates on current oil and gas efforts/tasks
o Rulemaking and other groups in which Erie participates
o Current happenings at COGCC
o Continuation of air monitoring project
o Implementation of 10.12.6 for current wells
o Transparency regarding discussion with current operators
• Understanding purpose of CRGS (oil and gas consultant)
o Monitoring of current wells
o Well research
o Rulemaking recommendation review on behalf of Erie
o Understanding current operations in Erie
