SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Crestone Peak Resources (“Crestone”) gathering facility is located at the northwest corner County Road 6 and County Road 7 in unincorporated Weld County. Crestone has agreed to dedicate 10-feet of additional right-of-way on the north side of County Road 6. County Road 6 is proposed as a collector right-of-way with an ultimate right-of-way width of 80-feet. With the dedication of the additional 10-feet from Crestone, the Town will have the full right-of-way width.
The attached draft resolution accepts the warranty deed for the additional right-of-way.
As part of the construction of the gathering facility, Crestone will be responsible for constructing and paving County Road 6 along their ½ mile of frontage. In addition, Crestone will be responsible for installation of a 12-inch water main within the County Road 6 right-of-way that will service the gathering facility. Construction is anticipated to begin with the next few weeks and last through the summer.
