POLICY ISSUES:

This ordinance allows the transfer of land from Lennar Colorado, LLC to the Town of Erie to fulfil open space land dedication requirements for the Wildrose Subdivision per the Development Agreement.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

This ordinance accomplishes land conveyance of Tract A in the Wildrose Subdivision to the Town of Erie to be utilized as open space.

 

The Wildrose Subdivision was approved in 2019 and improvements have recently received Final Acceptance from the Town. Per the Development Agreement, Tract A, which encompasses 17.86 acres, was identified to be dedicated to the Town for the purposes of open space, drainage, and public access. Improvements and restoration efforts have been completed and approved on the property and the Town is prepared to obtain ownership and maintenance of the tract.
