STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Approve entering into a lease agreement with CoSolve for 625 Pierce St for a period of six months.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
In January of 2020 the Town entered into a general service agreement with CoSolve as an effort to strengthen and grow the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. Since the COVID-19 pandemic started in March 2020, it has been difficult to establish a physical presence for CoSolve to provide the services due to additional financial constraints and public health burdens. This lease agreement is intended to bridge the gap, by allowing CoSolve to lease the Town-owned space at 625 Pierce Street (the “Purple House”), prototype the CoSolve approach, and gain community awareness and support until they transition into their own physical space in Erie in 2021.
