POLICY ISSUES:
Approving the annexation will allow Town of Erie-owned land to be utilized for road right-of-way associated with the Canyon Creek Development. The road improvements will be constructed by the developer and will be maintained by the Town once accepted.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On Nov. 14, 2023, the Town Council approved the Canyon Creek Filing No. 7 and 8 Development Agreements and accepted dedications as shown on the final plats for each filing. As part of those developments the applicant was required to dedicate land to the Town to allow road improvements to Lombardi Street. This annexation incorporates 0.443 of an acre located southeast of Lombardi Street and Jay Road and will accommodate an extension of the road and a roundabout as part of the overall Canyon Creek Filing 7 and 8 developments.
