Recommendation
Approve the Resolution to award said contract, authorize the appropriate Town officer to execute said contract, and authorize staff to expend contracted fund.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The 2022 Operating Budget includes funds for annual maintenance service and supplies contracts. These contracts are competitively or state-bid and awarded. Each of the contracts allows for a renewal option for up to four (4) consecutive years following the initial award (a total of five years). A proposed renewal occurs when both the Town and Contractor agree, the increased price is no more than 2% of the previous year total contract amount or the current Consumer Price Index for the Boulder Colorado region as indicated at the following website: https://www.bls.gov/regions/mountain-plains/co_boulder_msa.htm#eag <https://www.bls.gov/regions/mountain-plains/co_boulder_msa.htm> and performed work was satisfactory.
Part of these annual services includes monthly janitorial services for the Town Hall, Erie Community Center, Leon A Wurl Service Center, Police Station and partial year monthly services for Garfield Shelter/Erie Ball Park Concessions Stand and Crescent Park Shelter.
Fiscal Impact:
The Town received three bids for this work with the low bidder being KG Facility Solutions, Inc.
