SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The 2019 budget includes the purchase of new and replacement Fleet units. The Capital Budget includes purchasing a new pickup for Streets.
The Town received the State Bid from John Elway Chevrolet for a 1500 series pickup truck for $34,969, including options. We’ve added additional funds to cover freight, delivery and possible additional fees of $3,431. The total projected cost for each truck is $38,400. Each truck will take approximately eight months to put in service.
