Policy
POLICY ISSUES:
This expense continues to fund the rehabilitation of the Schofield barn in line with the recommendations of the Historic Structures Assessment. Approval of the new appropriation in the Parks Improvement Impact Fund and Trails & Natural Areas Fund will allow this agreement to move forward and will be captured in the Spring Supplemental Budget Appropriation in 2026.

Approve the Resolution to amend the Contract.

SUMMARY/KEY POINTS
* The funding for the Schofield project includes funding from both the Parks Improvement Impact Fund and the Trails & Natural Areas Fund.
* Additional appropriation will ensure the Schofield project, including site improvements and the barn, are completed.
* This contract amendment will complete the rehabilitation of the barn at Schofield associated with the State Historical Fund grant award.

BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The entire Schofield project is being funded by the Parks Improvement Impact Fund (PIIF), Trails & Natural Areas Fund (TNAF), the Tree Impact Fund, and grant dollars from the Land & Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) and the State Historical Fund (SHF).
