SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

At the request of Trustee Loflin and Mayor Carroll, the Town Administrator, Deputy Town Administrator, and Town Attorney worked with Boulder Valley School District, Saint Vrain Valley School District, and Alicia Graves to address concerns raised by Trustees in the June 8 Board meeting. All parties agreed that a resolution reflecting the letters submitted by Ms. Graves to the school districts would be an appropriate response to demonstrate the Town’s commitment to the school districts’ work already in progress. Town staff want to thank Ms. Graves for sharing her extensively researched and tailored response letters to each school district (attached) and want to credit her for language in the resolution that pulls directly from her letters.
