SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Following the resignation of former Trustee Bill Gippe on October 2, 2021, the Board of Trustees directed staff to conduct a recruitment process to include review of applications received, selection of finalists for interviews, interviews at a special meeting and rank choice voting to determine the appointee. At the Special Meeting on December 7, 2021, Justin Brooks received the approval for the appointment to be sworn in on December 14, 2021.
Once the appointment is ratified, Justin Brooks will be sworn in by the Town Clerk and sign the Oath of Office.
After being seated, the newly appointed Trustee Brooks and other Trustees will be provided time to speak.
