SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
At the request of Town Staff, Kelly Williams has submitted a proposal to the Town of Erie to create, organize and manage three family-friendly events on Friday nights in July that would take place on Briggs and Wells Streets in Historic Downtown Erie.

Overview of Event: A family-friendly event for Erie residents in Historic Downtown Erie on Briggs and Wells Street with street closures between Wells and Moffatt creating a "Downtown Neighborhood Block Party."

The Block Parties would be scheduled for three Friday nights in July from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The event would be hosted by The Town of Erie and organized by Kelly Williams (Kelly Enterprises LTD).

Objectives: Create a community-building event for all Erie residents in Downtown Erie while promoting local businesses, restaurants and breweries. The event would bring families to Downtown Erie on Friday nights for a neighborhood Block Party to listen to music, engage in children's activities, eat from local restaurants and drink from local breweries.
