SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

 

Boulder County has asked if the Town of Erie would have an interest in supporting and joining the Amicus Curiae Brief to the Supreme Court in support of the Plaintiffs in the Martinez v. Colorado Oil & Gas Commission.

During June 27, 2017 Board of Trustees meeting, the Board of Trustees approved Resolution 17-94, a resolution authorizing the Town Attorney to file an amicus curiae brief in support of the respondents/appellants and opposing a grant of certiorari in Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission V. Martinez.
