SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
At the March 8, 2016 Board of Trustees Meeting a contract for the Erie Parkway Corridor Study was awarded to Felsburg Holt Ullevig (FHU). Recommended alternatives for Erie Parkway was presented at the January 10, 2017 Board of Trustees Meeting to receive public comments prior to finalizing the plan. The Erie Parkway Corridor Study and Appendix is attached.
The Erie Parkway Corridor Study provides multi-modal transportation and streetscape recommendations based upon stakeholder input and a thorough understanding of community values, history, and future development scenarios. The study includes transportation scenario models, streetscape plans, and analysis of the potential impacts to community character and economic development potential, as well as recommendations, cost estimates and strategies for project implementation.
