Approve the Development Agreement and accept dedications shown on the Final Plat for the Sunset Filing No. 1 Subdivision

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

The Sunset Filing No. 1 Final Plat area is located west of Weld County Road 5, north of Weld County Road 6 and the Erie Singletrack, and south of Erie Highlands. 

 

The Sunset Preliminary Plat was approved by Resolution No. 20-102 on May 26, 2020 and included 238 residential lots and 23 tracts for various purposes including landscaping, trails, utilities, drainage and parks.

 

The Sunset Filing No. 1 Final Plat includes the first 188 residential lots to be developed and 18 tracts including landscaping, trails, utilities, drainage, a pocket park, and a future development tract.  A future final plat will plat the future development tract consistent with the approved Preliminary Plat.

 

Action Items:

A Development Agreement has been drafted to accompany the Final Plat. It includes cost estimates for all public infrastructure associated with this development. The Board of Trustees is the approval body for both the Development Agreement and the acceptance of dedications as shown on the Final Plat.
