BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On June 10, 2025, Council approved a construction contract to JOC Construction for the replacement of two culverts on Allen Avenue and Nonaham Lane in Kenosha Farms. This amendment includes removal and installation of three (3) additional culverts, 1-18'' and 2-30", along with related infrastructure improvements, to support long-term stormwater management for the Town of Erie and surrounding neighborhood.
Our goal is to complete this project before the street maintenance project begins, which will involve a mill and overlay of the roadway. If this culvert project gets delayed, we could potentially have negative impacts to the new roadway after the completion of the street maintenance project.
