SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Annually, the Erie Police Department contracts with Boulder County Communications for dispatch services. For the budget year 2025, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office requests an amendment to the fees for service. The proposed amount is based on actual expense model of current year costs plus the last three years of Calls for Service (CFS).
Staff believe contracting with Boulder County for dispatch services is the most cost effective approach and provides the highest relative value of all options available
