SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
At the request of the Board of Trustees, Town staff, with the assistance of our oil and gas legal counsel, has been working to revise the Unified Development Code (UDC) Chapter 12 oil and gas regulations. The following timeline provides a summary of the meetings and public comment periods used to solicit input on the proposed amendments to Chapter 12 of the UDC.

As indicated in the timeline, the final redline draft was presented to the Planning Commission at their October 21, 2020 meeting along the proposed amendments to six other chapters of the UDC
Tonight staff is presenting this final draft to the Board with the intention that the final approval and adoption of the amendment will take place at the November 10, 2020 Board Meeting.
