Approve the Resolution authorizing the disbursement of funds to the Downtown Erie Business Association for projects defined in the Resolution in the Amount of $11,100.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Downtown Erie Business Association (DEBA) presented at the April 27th, 2021 Board of Trustees Meeting. At that meeting DEBA asked for $100,000 to support projects and programs developed and administered by DEBA to support Downtown Erie economic development and beautification efforts. The Board asked DEBA to provide a more specific and scalable budget request including individual project descriptions and justifications, specific dollar amounts for each project, and projected return on investment.
The budget request and project summary below and proposed Resolution are a result of DEBA working with the Economic Development department to address time sensitive needs for spring projects as preparations for the busy summer season are underway. DEBA anticipates coming back to the Board later in the year for with additional projects that are not as time sensitive.
