SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: At the July 12, 2016 Board of Trustee approved the construction of Parking Lots -Town Hall Parking Improvements and Community Park and Community Park.
In the original project scope excluded the landscaping and irrigation due to a lack of availability from the landscaping trades. The hardscapes of the three parking lots has been constructed and are in use.
To help ensure competitive pricing and scheduling for the 2017 construction season we bid the landscaping and irrigation of the project prior to the planting season. An Invitation for the Parking Lot Landscaping bid was posted on the Town’s website on October 25, 2016 with a bid opening on November 10, 2016.
There were six bids received, no Erie contractors. Lawnscapes LLC submitting the lowest bid.

Lawnscapes, LLC. has been in business since 1980 and performed work in other municipalities such as Northglenn, Longmont, Westminster, and Brighton. Staff is recommending awarding the construction contract for the Parking Lot Landscaping to Lawnscapes, LLC.
