SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
The Elevate Erie project (Comprehensive Plan & Transportation Mobility Plan (TMP) update process) kicked off with the Planning Commission in late 2022. The TMP is a subset plan of the Comprehensive Plan. Both plans were developed simultaneously. The TMP identifies new roadway infrastructure, bike/ped facilities, and transit options for the Town. The plan outlines values, policies, and strategies to achieve the Town's transportation goals.

This update includes the implementation & funding, projects priority list, policies in its entirety, and all performance measures. Staff will ask Council to adopt the plan on Dec. 10, 2024. Prior to seeking adoption, Town Transportation staff are bringing the draft TMP forward for discussion with Town Council to present the approach taken and the results of that approach. Staff have scheduled discussion sessions for this evening's meeting and November 12, 2024 to gather feedback from Council.
