SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
To ensure the safety and accessibility of residents, council, and staff during the construction on the expansion of Town Hall, staff recommends cancelling two meetings. Staff also recommends cancelling two meetings due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The specific dates and reasons for cancellation are listed below:
• Tuesday, November 19, 2024 Study Session (due to the transferring IT systems to the new building, which will disrupt service).
• Tuesday, November 26, 2024 Council Meeting (due to the Thanksgiving holiday).
• Tuesday, December 17, 2024 Study Session (due to the transferring IT systems to the new building, which will disrupt service)
• Tuesday, December 24, 2024 Council Meeting (due to the Christmas holiday).
