SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Starting in May of 2024 and extending over the next few years, various segments of County Line Road are under construction. Improvements include undergrounding power lines, strategic enhancements to the roadway, bike lanes, sidewalks, and multi-use trails. Each segment of improvement reflects the Town’s commitment to improving transportation, safety, and environmental sustainability.
In addition to road improvements, several development projects on or near County Line Road are slated to start in the summer of 2024. Due to the high volume of work in the area, a cross-departmental team of Town staff plan to meet bi-weekly to produce regular, timely and proactive communication updates to council and residents.
