SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:

Early this year Mayor Pro Tem Loflin requested staff gather information on 2024 statewide ballot issues. At the time of this report, nine statewide ballot measures have been certified for the ballot in Colorado for the November election (see below). In addition, one initiated measure has submitted the required signatures and is in review by the Secretery of State’s Office, while 23 proposed initiatives, and two legislative referrals are still in process. More information on all approved and potential ballot measures can be found at: <https://ballotpedia.org/Colorado_2024_ballot_measures>

If Council wishes staff to take additional action on any of these issues we will add it to a future Council meeting for direction.
