SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
On May 9, 2023, the Town experienced a significant hailstorm. With this storm the two dome structures at the Leon A Wurl Service Center were damaged. This damage was included in the Town’s initial insurance claim.
The Town received a proposal from Sprung Instant Structures, Inc for this project. This proposal consists of construction oversight and supplying parts for the project. We will have a separate contract with Integrated Nine for the labor portion of the project. That separate contract is less than $100,000, so if the Council approves this agreement, the Town Manager will approve the agreement with Integrated Nine to remove and replace the dome skins.
