SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
Tonight, Bill Meier from Untied Power will present a $2,599 rebate check. The Town earned this rebate because of new technology installed at the Erie Community Center that reduced energy consumption.
In 2023, the Erie Community Center implemented the Clear Comfort AOP supplemental system. The AOP system, or advanced oxidation process, provides healthier, safer, and more sustainable swimming environments. This system serves as an additional sanitation measure for the center's pool and hot tub. Renowned for its minimal chemical usage and energy efficiency, the new system aligns with the Town's focus on environmental sustainability, promotes community health, and is energy efficient.
