SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER:
As part of the Summerfield Annexation Agreement completed in 2013 in Section G-2, the Summerfield Development will install a sanitary system extending from the North Water Reclamation Facility north of Highway 52 to WCR 7. The alignment of this system extends through five private properties.
The sanitary system is necessary to provide sanitary service to the Summerfield Development as well as the Interstate Basin that includes the I-25/Gateway area and additional properties north and east along Erie Parkway. As such, the system installation will be sized to accommodate the Summerfield Development and additional development within the Interstate Basin. Reimbursement of installation costs and easement acquisition is identified as part of the Annexation Agreement with Summerfield.
As part of on-going design and installation efforts, the acquisition of easements from five property owners was necessary. Attached are the executed permanent easements necessary to install the sanitary lines from the North Water Reclamation Facility to the Summerfield Development. Work on the system is intended to begin this summer.
